In 2016, two friends with a passion for Italian cuisine decided to create a place where one could truly experience and savor the essence of Italy. Riccardo Remonato, an experienced Italian chef with 20 years of international expertise, and Cláudio Vala, a Portuguese host with a deep love for the art of hospitality, joined forces to bring this vision to life.
Their search for the perfect location led them, in 2017, to a historic building in the heart of the charming city of Faro. And so, L'Osteria was born a restaurant where tradition, passion, and hospitality come together to create an authentic experience.
